Some of our earlier audio/video projects were for the group AMP Trio as well as educational ventures like my Manhattan School of Music graduate school audition and the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead residency program, both successfully realized. Tracks "Culture,” and "Transcendental Object at the End of Time" were partially recorded at this time and were developed in the last months before the release of the album Nef. These early tracks gave me a taste of the possibilities that accompany ample studio time, an engineer with a keen ear and honest opinion and the wealth of talented musicians living in Denton, Texas.
