After moving to New York I wrote the song "Dallas."  I had been tossing around the vibe in my head for sometime but during a walk around the upper west side of Manhattan I finally got it out with my voice and recorded it on my iPhone.  After bringing the song into various groups at school and to my great friend Addison Frei and Tahira Clayton the song was ready for recording at the school’s recording studio.  There I met and worked with Matt Blostein, the experienced engineer from Brooklyn, NY.  We spent weeks completing the album with editing, mixing, tracking and mastering at Matt’s home studio in Williamsburg.
