This new and continuously improving home studio combined with a deep friendship gave us grounds for productivity and fun.  We capitalized on the notion with our composition "Connectivity." We invited drummer and composer Nolan Byrd to participate.  The concept: Nolan would take a four-minute, improvised drum solo which would then be the basis for an electronic composition.  Using Logic 10 we built around the drums with midi sounds, electric basses and guitars, saxophone, voice and the spoken word of the extraordinary Terence McKenna.  After multiple lengthy sessions spanning many weeks we completed the composition and found ourselves with a unique style of producing music.
